Job Title: Liquid Blender
Reports To: Plant Manager

Job Purpose
The Liquid Blender mixes chemicals with blending equipment according to instruction to generate material for production; responsible for maintaining product quality standards of the company.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Liquid Blender performs a range of duties including some or all of the following:
- Mix chemicals following written and/or oral instructions to generate product
- Control operation of hand-tools, automated machines, and mixing equipment
- Independently manage flow of manufacturing
- Responsible for the accuracy, and quality of the finished goods
- Comply with all health and safety requirements as stipulated within the Standard Operating Procedures of the company and the federal Health and Safety Act
- Maintain product quality standards by taking test samples for quality control
- Accurately complete assigned paperwork, minor calculations may be required
- To maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all employees
Qualifications
Education
- Completion of Gr. 10 high school
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Certified in handling dangerous goods and flammable materials
- WHMIS training
- Ability to lift moderate and heavy weight materials
Personal characteristics
Liquid Blenders should demonstrate competence in some or all of the following:
- Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and technique.
- Organize: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
Experience
- Minimum 3 year experience in an manufacturing setting
