Job Purpose
The Line Worker assists in the Machine Operator in filling and packaging product.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
The Line Worker performs a range of duties including some or all of the following:
Fill and package product in accordance to written and oral instructions
Control operation of hand-tools, date stamps, and automated machines
Responsible for the accuracy, and quality of the finished goods
Promote safe work practices, good housekeeping and superior manufacturing procedures
Any other duties deemed necessary for the benefit of the company by management.

Qualifications
Education
Completion of Gr. 10 high school

Knowledge, skills and abilities
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Knowledgeable in the handling of dangerous goods
WHMIS training

Personal characteristics
Line Workers should demonstrate competence in some or all of the following:
Communicate Effectively: Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and technique.
